That is such bullshit. You know what pisses me off more? The way the media plays up "And he has a history of mental illness..." like that is the reason some rage-filled asshole goes and shoots up a bunch of innocent people.

And it's like, now the government could use the fact that ohh.. THIS person takes drugs for mental illness... better watch her, she could be the next killer.

Then again, your doctor also knows you perscription history and if the feds or anyone else asks for that info, they have to give it. I don't see how different that is.

But wouldn't there have to be a court order for the doctor to release that information? See - that would mean that a judge would have to review the available information and decide if he or she thought the invasion into a person's privacy was warranted. I think this is a bit different from the information being made available in a database accessible to various law enforcement agencies. It just seems like this particular system could rather easily be abused.

Wow, I have fibro, and takes tons of Class IV, III and have taken Class II's recently, all my Tx, why the hell don't they have me under observation? This is a violation of civil rights and privacy, thanks for letting me know about this offenisive fact that every thing I take to try to get thru a day and not have a quality of life that would make me craxy is being tracked and documented and available to the feds.
