Assorted weekend notes

yendi1. The rest of Friday only went downhill, with lots more stress and lots more feeling ill. Let's write that one off.
2. On Saturday, I made a brain. Hot wives, incidentally, are not included in the brain-making kit, but I got lucky and found one, anyway.
3. Saturday also consisted of a very nice party at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mangosteen and lifecollage's at which it took over three hours for my usual, "oh dear god, there are too many fucking people" anxiety to kick in. Good conversation and good food both help keep that at bay. Said party was also attended by zombies, which is why we brought brains.
4. We hit The Spot for Mother's Day brunch, and it was as good as always.
5. I killed the NS in KOL, and am now on my final HCO run, as a Sauceror. I'm actually not touching the character until tomorrow's mysticality day, as I'll have 200 turns banks then (just lucky timing).
6. The bus ride into work today was not pleasant. At all. As in, I've finally filed one of those on-time guarantees.
7. We have our reservations for Readercon. Yay!
8. Today's my mom's birthday! For once, she actually has her gift on time!
9. I finally finished (for the third time) the Protoss missions in Starcraft: Brood War. I'm currently on the second mission of the Terran campaign, which is my favorite mission in the game (the one in which you need to get pilots to the battlecruisers). Even if it contains at least one ludicrous concept -- the idea of arming and using nukes in a stealth mission.
9.5 Also, the Terrans have the best background music.
10. Yet another webcomic: Hulk and Bizarro (ganked fromseanhtaylor). Me am amused.
