yendi1. Amazon's Deal of the Day is any of the last three World Series Collector's Edition DVD sets (2004 Red Sox, 2005 White Sox, 2006 Cardinals) at 50% off.
2. I can't believe that I'm actually happy that the Mets managed to take two out of three against the Brewers. How the hell did the Brewers become a team to fear*?
3. Also, yay, Carlos Gomez! Great way to make a debut.
4. Also again, I'm a bit worried about the rotation of the Mets. Pelfrey was flawed, but I don't see Park or anyone else filling in well. Maybe Sele or Heilman? Then again, with Perez and Sosa looking back on track, things are a lot better than I'd feared.
5. Bode Miller is an asshole. His quitting the ski team is one thing. It's the attitude that he has nothing to apologize for, when other people were kept off the team (and the chance of a lifetime) so he could fuck around that irritates me.
