Tuesday Morning stuff
May. 22nd, 2007 08:10 amI'm sick today (as in, not even at the office sick), so won't be online much, as I'd rather just lie down. So only a few links.
1. Tanya Huff supports what Cory Doctorow says about fanfic. Which is nice, since Blood Ties Executive Story Editor Denis McGrath turns into a raging asshole when the subject is brought up.
2. Meanwhile, Making Light sums up (and has lots of good links about) the current kurfuffle regarding FanLib.
3. I know plenty of folks have seen it, but over at No Fear of the Future, the Alternate History of Chinese Science Fiction is wonderful.
4. The jury's (figuratively) still out on Vick's guilt, but there's no question that Clinton Portis deserves to have his nutsack chewed off by a pack of wild weasels. Fucking asshole.
5. Finally, Amazon's Deal of the Day is Season 1 of The Magnificent Seven for $13.49 (55% off). I liked this series a lot more than I expected to when it first aired, so yay for a good deal!
Now, I go rest. Ick.

Date: 2007-05-22 12:33 pm (UTC)I think I really need to get out of the house today. Socialization is probably more than I can handle, but fresh air and sunshine (now that there IS SOME) has been sorely lacking.
