Bully?

Amazon's videogame Deal of the Day is Bully (for PS2) for $19.99. I know that some folks on my FL mentioned it when it came out, but I can't remember if it was good. I've liked a few of the Rockstar games I've played (Vice City and Red Dead Revolver), but don't know enough about this one. Any thoughts?

I have no idea if it's good...but one of my best friends, Lori Funk, is the voice of Miss Danvers. So, heck, I'm going to recommend it on that basis alone.

Its not bad actually.. Going to class to level up your abilities is actually quite a bit of fun and there is something satisfying about walking up to some guy, beating him up, and sticking him in a garbage can. Its less sandbox than GTA.. but not bad by any means

It's really fun. I think so, anyway.

It's pretty much Elayna-suitable, too. All the controversy when it came out was rubbish. Nobody ever dies, you get automatically busted for hitting girls (I did it by accident when I was still learning the controls), and you get rewarded for doing well in class. Yeah, you steal stuff and beat people up, but not too many non-little-kid games don't have that element.

Definite buy at that price.

It's definately worth getting, especially at that price. While there's not as much side-stuff to do in Bully as there is in the GTA games (there's still quite a bit of side-quests and things, but not as much), and so it will probably only take you a month or so to beat (depending on how much you play), but it's funny and innovative enough to keep you entertained the whole way through.
