Andruw Jones: Most overrated CF in baseball history

I might have argued against this until last night, when I watched Andruw fail to throw out a tagging runner on a very shallow fly to center. And that runner was Paul Fucking Lo Duca.

Oh, he was running full-out. It just equated to most people's strolling speed.

Seriously, the Braves should've held on to Kenny Lofton in 1997 and dumped Andruw.

True, but I think Schuerholz would have been shot if he'd done that then. Now, if he'd pulled off a great deal right around 2001, that would have been perfect.

why the lo duca hatred? he's anchoring my fantasy team right now. and by anchoring i mean filling the catcher spot.

No hatred at all -- adore Lo Duca, and think he's an underappreciated reason for the success of the Mets. I just think he runs poorly (although he did steal a base last night).
