Variety is reporting that CBS is considering swapping the writing staff of CSI and Two and a Half Men for an episode.
It's probably worth mentioning that I watch CSI for the writing. And that I don't watch TaaHM for the same reason.
Now, put the Scrubs writers on CSI (yeah, I know -- wrong network), and I'd buy that gimmick in a second.

Umm... Why? Are they bored?
I read the article. No real rational explanation.
I watched about 10 min of Two and a Half Men
once. It sucks.
If they want comedy on CSI, the original often has low key humour.
CSI:Miami is funny in a very *bad* way 'cause of David Caruso.
Let them sub writers in that show. It might actually improve it
if they can poke fun at his giant ego ;)

Date: 2007-06-17 08:49 am (UTC)Plus I like Lorre, the only bummer would be that he couldn't have his own vanity card for the C.S.I. episode but I guess he could do one for that week's Men.
I've found that most people who dis Two and a Half Men haven't actually watched an entire episode all the way through (and it's possible they might hit a dud, so two or three episodes would be best way to judge). I've seen most episodes of the show by now.
It's a solid sitcom, it's not groundbreaking or different (like Scrubs or Arrested Development), but funny traditional sitcoms are hard to come by these days (there are so many bad ones).
