1. Dear LJ:

You know, most companies send the first expiration notice a month before accounts expire, not twelve days.

Seriously, twelve days? I mean, even if you'd decided to give little warning, why not ten or fifteen? Or fourteen if the idea was to go for a two week notice?

2. I still have a backlog of dozens of LJ comments to respond to. Comments that require time and/or thought, sadly, are more likely to get shoved to the back of the queue. So if you get replies to comments that are weeks old, it's not LJ, it's me.

2.5. Unless it really is LJ. Check the date on the comments to be sure.

3. Over in KOL, the NS is dead, and I've ascended as a Disco Bandit. HC, no other restrictions. This is where I'll be when NS13 hits.

4. Today is Elayna's last day of school! Needless to say, she's excited.

5. New York Magazine has a surprisingly good comic-oriented blog called The Comics Page. Alas, it looks like the only RSS feed they have aggregates all of the New York blogs. Still, there's some really good stuff here for indy fans.
