R.I.P., Mick Farren

yendiI somehow completely missed this news over the weekend.
Farren was one of my favorite genre writers during my teen years, with the Phaid books, Vickers, and Their Master's War being some of my favorites, and even as an adult, I really enjoyed the Victor Renquist books (including the in-jokes -- one of them spends an entire page talking about Cassidy from Preacher).
I'm not sure how well his fiction will hold up to the Suck Fairy, but I definitely will be re-reading some of them to find out.
