Every DC Comics title -- past, present, and future -- must replace "Crisis" in the title with "Tsuris":

Tsuris on Infinite Earths

Identity Tsuris

Infinite Tsuris

Final Tsuris

It would be both funnier and more accurate.

Win.

And now I'm sort of imagining the DCU superhero cast as this sort of enormous dysfunctional East Coast Jewish family.

On the other hand, Tsuris with Tribbles doesn't have the same ring to it.

Given Siegal and Schuster's problems with the outfit, that's not too far off.

Vocabulary Lad approves of "Tsuris".

Follow DC's lead and make like a million copies of it, then intermittently destroy and recreate them when you run out of other good ideas.

Just imagine your life... then Crisis it.

Er... Tsuris it?

What would the alternate versions of you be like?

Ah, Yiddish; is there anything it can't do?

I don't think so. I caught his "sidekicks" deconstruction, and I think I heard about his next project fitting in with that title, but then I bought a house and had kids, and my comics purchases dried up.

If you could lend that to me, trust that I used to grade comics, and know how to keep them in proper condition.

I learned a good chunk of it from Mad, Harlan Ellison, and Leo Rosten. :)
