1. Amazon's VIdeoGame Deal of the Day is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for $9.99. Seeing as GTA: VC was the only GTA game I've really enjoyed, this is tempting.

2. Mmm, fugu.

3. Today's moment of fucked-up: Mets fans at Shea performing the Tomahawk Chop.

4. Read your own DHS Travel Dossier!

5. George Bush makes surprise visit to work.

6. New gmail rumored to be on the way.

7. OldApps. Older versions of assorted programs (useful for running on computers that aren't on the latest OS).

8. Surprise Long Pig!

9. That Simpsons intro from this week I liked so much? Watch it here. Not available any more, thanks to the friendly lawyers at Fox!

10. Finally, Starbucks will be giving out free iTunes downloads in October. Unlike the Pepsi iTunes promo, you can get songs without having to drink something that sucks. Awesome!

The Simpsons intro link is already replaced with a "down because of a copyright claim by Fox" message. (I found the same thing a couple of days ago when I tried to link to the Adam West/Noid fight from Family Guy.) But I made a point to watch that intro Sunday night, and right you are about the Win.

Mayhap the same friendly Fox lawyers who panicked that their script Hardware was too close to I, Robot only because of the Three Laws of Robotics, which would be a little like thinking your vampire story has to be cleared by the Bram Stoker estate because it has vampires (but they didn't know that the Three Laws are common coin of robot stories now), but which is why that Will Smith robot film is called I, Robot.

That's what I call it, by the way: "That Will Smith robot film." Preserves my sanity.

But if it makes you feel better, here's Darth Vader scenes from Star Wars redubbed with James Earl Jones lines from other movies. "Ah HA!" Maybe you've seen it before, but you can also see it NOW.

The sickest part about that leg thing is that it isn't some Edgar Allen Poe mystery finally coming to light, but some jackass amputee's cheap laugh.

But instead of paying $1.00 to get a 99 cent song you get to pay $6

Actually, you don't *have* to pay anything. They're being given away with samples as well. Though you don't get to choose which song you get. And like it says, it's US-only. Canada gets... um... Pumpkin spice, Tazo chai and caramel macchiatos (macchiatoes? macchiati?)...? Yay us?
