Meh. Two damned fine leads in a show that tosses out nothing but cliches. During the first two weeks of the Fall TV Season, it takes something better to stay on my Tivo.

That said, much as I like Cole Hauser, the show would be ten times better if they'd cast Kevin Hart as Anthony Anderson's wingman.

I watched it tonight and I thought it was passable as a Miami Vice set in New Orleans. Its cliche buddy cop action show. That said it runs up against Heroes and Dancing with the Stars so its out of my loop by default.

I caught the first episode of the series and while I kind of liked it, it seemed very disjointed in its storytelling. Almost as if the script never got past first revisions before the deadline came to start shooting. To me there needed to be a better reasoning behind Hauser's backstory and the story of Anderson's previous partner wasn't very intriguing. I think they could have done a better job with him if they stretched his story out over several episodes rather than compressing it all into one.

Both of these sub-plots, I think, would have done the series a better service if they were stretched out through the first season, allowing for tensions and conflicts to drive the viewers' interests.

They seem to have everything... full movies (tons of horror films), cartoons, all sorts of anime, famous documentories
and a long list of group of music vids (but too much pop, not enough rock)
