A number of you are clinically insane working on Nanowramo. I know a few of you who are involved off the top of my head -- underpope, rafaela, kradical, fshk, puppetmaker40, <lj user="songwind", etc. I also admit that I don't always catch who's doing NaNoWriMo, not least because there are so many posts on the topic on any given day in November, I tend to blur it out a little bit (my FL turns into something resembling a month-long Blogathon). So if you're doing it, feel free to mention it in comments, and I'll go back and add folks to this post. I still think you're all insane, but insanity like this deserves respect. :-)

Well, in my case, I decided to do it simply because reality had kinda decided to do it for me. I had a 50,000-word novel due 15 December that I wanted to finish on 1 December, and as October was ending, I still hadn't started yet.

So real life pretty much gave me a NaNoWriMo, so I figured I'd go with the in-crowd. Or something.

But while this may be insane, it's actually a fairly normal month for me.... *laughs*

However, I am doing LJ Idol again.

And, we've, yet again, relaunched Infusions of Grandeur (http://www.infusionsofgrandeur.net/). I think we're actually going to keep it going this time.

Someone suggested I do NaNoWriMo; however, with the above, two jobs, kids and a girlfriend. I decided my head would explode if I attempted it.

Maybe, if I could just get past that nasty habit of having to sleep...

My starting point on this one was that Arrows of the Queen by Lackey was almost the perfect wish-fulfillment fantasy, except it didn't have nearly enough math or girl/girl porn. I am fixing this oversight.
