One laptop per child

yendiThe One Laptop Per Child sale -- where you get one for yourself and one shipped to a child in a developing country for $400-- starts today.
I played with one of these back in May, and I can tell you that, aside from the good it does, this is also the only non-Mac laptop I've seen that I've actually lusted after. If you need a new laptop, this is a great way to get one cheap and still do some good. And you get $200 worth of a tax deduction, along with T-Mobile Hotspot access for a year.
It does not run Windows. That's a feature, by the way.
