Another good cause

As some of you know, I'm a huge fan of Steven Brust (if you hadn't figured this out, look at my username or my profile).

He's managed to acquire quite a lot of medical bills and debt over the last few years (and unlike other things one might acquire, like baseball cards, you can't sell this stuff on eBay).

He also has been convinced to put a tip jar up on his site.

If you can spare the money, go tip him. We need more of Brust's books and songs. Hell, we need more of him, period.

I meant that there's not much of a market for debt from the debtor's end.

Could be... Though I can imagine Brust putting his bills on eBay, one at a time with a "Buy it now!" button, and tossing in perks like character names, or autographed publisher galleys or things he might have lying around the house...
