amokk won a $5 Amazon Gift Certificate on Blingo! Which means that I won one, as well! Yay!
2. Obligatory KOL Update: Got ready for the final quest, only to realize that I'd skipped the entire Star area. Sigh. Fortunately, I still had three Corpse drinks remaining from yesterday, so I should have enough adventures to farm what I need and at least get partially into the tower.
3. The latest fun product recall: Confetti Bursts, from "American" Greetings (product made in China, of course). At least it's only lead in the confetti, and not GHB.
4. More Batman/Dark Knight viral marketing, in the form of the Gotham Times and the Ha Ha Ha Times, Gotham Police, and Remembering Gina.
5. Eliza Dushku in a movie about group sex. Yeah, I'm there. Incidentally, Duskku was hysterical playing against type on Ugly Betty the other week.
6. Personalized Sharpies! I know tons of folks who would probably use these (more than the personalized M&Ms, at least).
7. Seth Rogen is writing The Green Hornet! Not totally sure how I feel about that yet, other than surprised.
8. Rainbows End, a damned deserving Hugo winner (even though I also liked Blindsight a lot), is now available free online.
9. Buy'n'Large is the promo site for next year's Pixar movie Wall*E. It's full of little gems.
10. Finally, here's a good look at Futurama's mishandling by the morons at Fox, amongst other things.

Date: 2007-11-29 09:04 pm (UTC)When I last saw Eliza her age was measured in months. I remember her disrupting a Cub Scout meeting that my *little* brother and her *oldest* brother were attending. When you guys go on and on about her, all I think about is this little infant I once knew...
Of course, I can be almost accurate and say that I held her in my arms... (I probably didn't, but I know my mother did! =)
