Airtran managed to provide decidedly worse service than I'd have expected even from a company that lets passengers wallow in other people's pee.

Longer version to follow in 'song's LJ. I'm too livid to write right now.

Suffice to say, we're still in Boston, and won't be making it to Orlando at all.

I don't think I'll ever fly Airtran again after that story anyway... [icon directed at them, not you]

Imagine The Mighty Pimpslap descending on the face of AirTran. (You can imagine AirTran looks like George W. Bush.)

Ugh; sorry, man.

I know now never to take AirTran. (I'm not in their service area, of course, but I do wind up on the East Coast at times. I can curse them from there or something.)

No hotel can charge you for your rooms in good conscience.. unless you did one of those "paid in full" things online before hand.. and even then, at worst you can grumble to a GM or to corporate and get it refunded. If you get stuck and it was a normal reservation that you are getting screwed on let me know and I can use a little Travel Agent Magic and see what I can do.

As a frequent traveler who knows how frustrating air travel can be, you both have my utmost sympathies. So, so sorry about the suckage.

Airtran has always been good to me, but United kept us from attending arisia a few years back with a similar routine. With the economics of airtravel, I doubt there's any airline that isn't made of suck. Hope it works out tomorrow, but I'm not optomistic for you.

I agree with a low opinion of United. But they've never done to me what AirTran has done to too many of my friends, [livejournal.com profile] yendi and [livejournal.com profile] shadesong now included.

All airlines today suck, but you're right that some suck less than others.

After reading 'song's account, I'm shocked you didn't bust the asshole counter monkey in the nose. Sure the TSA goons would have dragged you away for tasering. But it might have been worth it...

Man that sucks.

I've had some awful experiences with airtran this year. Their service has gone downhill fast.
