1. David Pogue whines about National Treasure: Book of Secrets using a misleading trailer that implied it would suck less than it did. I'm sympathetic to the notion of misleading trailers, but anyone who saw NT: BOS and didn't expect a giant flaming pile of ass (metaphorically) doesn't get much sympathy from me.

2. Disney is homogenizing the Haunted Mansion experience. Fuck that noise.

3. Dane Cook told jokes for seven hours straight, setting the new comic endurance record. I actually like Cook more than most folks I know do (as long as he's on stage and not in movies), but I think that I'd have to kill him after about two or three hours.

4. USA Today has an article on ten movies that have yet to make it to DVD. Of these, only Baby It's You, Brewster McLoud, Johnny Guitar, and (of course) The Magnificent Ambersons rank as movies that need to be released soon.

5. New viral marketing site for Lost: This one will hint at (and eventually redirect you to) this one.

6. Quick Gaming Addiction: Cursor*10. Each cursor has a limited lifespan, leading to past lives helping future lives. Quirky, frustrating, but addictive.

7. Ten Best World Series Game Sixes Ever, according to the Hardball Times. I love the Dan Patrick anecdote about the 1986 game.

8. Tintin's hormonal issues

9. Free samples from South Beach Diet (warning: Samples might taste as bad as the bars I brought on the trip to Florida).

10. Finally, although Amazon's not really running any great new sales (aside from the DVD sales already going), they're offering a nice deal on Kelloggs cereals for those who want Costco-like bulk buying. Buy $49 worth of stuff, and they'll knock $29 off the price. That leads to about twelve boxes of healthy cereal (I tend to mix All Bran and Smart Start when I shop) for about $30 shipped. There are also less healthy cereals, as well as Pop-Tarts, cookies, and other stuff. Alas, the Cheez-it section of the sale only includes the crisps, not the real crackers. Which is probably good for my health.
