Best blurb and response in ages

I finished the latest Sue Grafton novel, T is for Trespass, yesterday. It was superb, which was pretty much what I'd expected.

What wasn't expected was the blurb and editorial response on the back cover:



Well, it cracked me up, at least.

This is on the back of her BOOK? Weird! Makes either her or "Editor" seem strangely petty.
Now I want to know who's right about the James Dean thing.
