1. iTunes has the pilot episode of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles available for free download. I'm liking the show a lot so far, mainly because I'm a sucker for Summer Glau as an ass-kicking woman with weird emotional detachment.

2. Wii games on sale at Amazon: Manhunt 2 for $26.99 (endorsed by jenphalian, who commented this past weekend that "you can beat people with the Wii controller"), Thrillville: Off the Rails for $32.99 (34% off), and Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire is $29.99 (25% off).

3. Amazon DVD deals: The two-disc edition of Citizen Kane for $9.99 (63% off). In Anime, the complete Princess Tutu is $27.49 (45% off), and the complete Witch Hunter Robin (still one of my all-time favorite series) is $23.49 (53% off). Finally, the Great Films You Might Have Missed in 2007 Sale includes 45-60% off deals on 2006 movies Casino Royale and Stranger Than Fiction, and 20007 "great" films like Ghost Rider and Premonition.

4. For those in need of free cholesterol, McDonald's will give you a free Sausage McGridle. That said, my zip code isn't one of the areas in which the offer applies (and there's no list of which ones are eligible).

5. Free Glad SimplyCooking Microwave Steaming Bag (which I'd assume is exactly the same as the Ziploc Zip and Steam bag)..

I heard one review of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES which stated that, if you put the name of a character in your title, that character really ought to be an interesting character that you want to watch. The review let the series slide on a technicality, on the part BEFORE the colon, since Summer Glau's Terminator IS the interesting character.

But they wondered who secretly replaced the kickass Sarah Connor from Terminator II with Folger's Crystals.

1. While it's tempting to have a legitimate copy, the iTunes wrapper is not worth it to me. I'll take DRM-free DivX for the win.
