Amazon's got a bunch of deals, mostly to secure the Valentine's Day market:
The video game Deal of the Day is Halo 3: Legendary Edition for $59.99 (54% off).
Everything else is in the DVD section:
Gilmore Girls is on sale at $19.99 a season (except for Season 2, which is $25.49), 58-67% off.
Veronica Mars is on sale for $16.99-$19.99 a season (67-72% off).
There's the I'm in the Mood for Love sale, with up to 57% off 90 movies, including Sleepless in Seattle, The Princess Bride, 50 First Dates, Mannequin, Down With Love (yay!), and Say Anything (double yay!).
Then there's the Valentine's Movies for Everyone sale, which has deals up to 57% off (even though the page claims only 35% off) on movies from a bunch of categories. There's overlap with the other sale, but there are also movies here like Lust, Caution, Persuasion, Closer, Cruel Intentions, a bunch of HD/Blu-Ray flicks, The Evil Dead, Hellraiser, and the Mario Bava sets. These last ones, in my opinion, are the epitome of romance. Note that there are some non-sale movies mixed in ($1 off Some Kind of Wonderful and Pretty in Pink, for example), but there's lots of good stuff here.
Finally, Amazon noticed that there's other stuff happening in February, and has a Black History Month DVD sale, with 40-47% off movies like Jo Jo Dancer: Your Life is Calling, A Raisin in the Sun, Glory, Devil in a Blue Dress, The Gods Must Be Crazy, and others.
