Brett Favre is retiring.

Not totally surprising, but still a little bit of a shock, after this past season.

And it's for real this time? There was an article a few days ago that said the same thing but wasn't real, or something. Lynx is going to be devastated.

I was surprised when he came back this year, and now I'm surprised he's calling it quits. The man lives to fuck with my head.

I'd say it's more than a little bit of a shock. A lot of people, including me, thought he would surely come back after having a great season. :/

I am not shocked, I am relieved... as a Green Bay resident tired of the local antics that don't make the news because no one wants to make the Football God look bad. He's an asshole of a person and I am glad to see him finally leave (which hopefully means he'll move back to his home state permanently now.).

all it took was management saying "no randy moss."

which makes me as a bears fan wish they had denied him moss years ago. as a chicagoan, while i will say that the entire state of wisconsin is scum (seriously, cheeseheads? what the crap?) and their state is full of failure....

brett favre was pretty good.

now i'm off to go diss their new kid, and bemoan the fact that my team could use an offense...
