Jericho is gone.

Even I don't think the network didn't give it enough of a chance; as with Arrested Development, this is one that just never clicked like it should have. Granted, it's a little bleaker than just about any show on TV this side of HBO, and it was predicted to be the first show canceled before the '06 season. But I still wish it had lasted a little longer.

That's a shame. I must admit that I haven't watched one episode of the new season yet. That's because Sue and I are still watching season one. In one sense, this doesn't upset me as much as I wasn't into this show in the first place. It's really good and all, but as I'm catching the reruns now, I don't feel like I invested my time in it the way I did say Journeyman. That was must see each week. Now, I've got season one and all of season two to date in the DVR and we watch it at our leisure.

Bummer. But hopefully we won't be left completely in the lurch this time around, and the season finale will have some degree of closure to it.

I can't say I'm particularly surprised. Regardless of numbers/viewership that kind of political commentary wasn't likely to last on network tv.

Please forgive me, but somehow I read this as Chris Jericho, the wrestler. I am an idiot. That was a pretty good show, what I saw of it... I'm just not that dedicated of a live TV watcher.

I dunno...as soon as I heard the concept I was like, "Dude, I am SO there!" but it just never really captured me. I watched every week and really tried to get emotionally invested, but it didn't happen. When I heard it had been cancelled for the first time, I was sad that another short-lived sci fi series had gone off the air, but I didn't really mourn it for myself.
