Today has been a day of tremendous suck, following up a week of suck (mostly work-related). The suck seems to have been fixed, although the suck-related fallout (in the form of work that had to be shunted aside to deal with the suck)) continues. I haven't, therefore, been online much for anything major, and haven't really had anything to post.

That said, let me take a brief break from the suck to note something that doesn't suck:

Laurell K. Hamilton (who often writes about creates who suck assorted things, occasionally writes about creatures who suck blood, and whose novels over the last few years, frankly, have sucked ass) went to a house concert at which the awesome [livejournal.com profile] s00j played, and loved it! I'm not a huge fan (obviously) of LKH's recent works, but I'm happy as hell to see anything that'll drive more folks [livejournal.com profile] s00j's way. Yay!

Wow. Even her blog is badly written.

I'm glad to see Sooj get the exposure, though.

And now that I read all the way through, I get to this:

"I don't see many performers that are as in tune with their inner voice, as I am. It's always nice to meet another light."

Oh, freakin' gag me. God, there's nothing worse than someone with an enormous ego about their mediocre talent.
