Order up some chocolate

coffeeinhell, as some of you might know, is starting a chocolate business called Polidori Chocolates.

They sound amazing, and you can finally order them!

Go here to read a description of the chocolates, and to place an order. If you live in the Portland, OR area, you even get free shipping! And free hand-dipped marshmallows!

The descriptions alone are worth reading, even if you can't afford to buy right now.

Alas, the initial order is only for the US, but if you live elsewhere, you can probably get an order shipped to a friend in the states (like, say, me) and can vicariously enjoy the chocolates that way.

I have never understood the "ship only to the continental US." It costs the EXACT same to ship to Alaska. Throw things in a box, slap some postage on it, mail it USPS. It'll get here just fine. It's not even like FedEx or UPS refuse to come up here and so there are no options at all. Why do people think it's like mailing things to a foreign country? *grrrrr*

I think because shipping companies have gotten so wacky ... and a lot of people, like me, are kinda stupid.

I re-read the Priority Mail features and you're absolutely right. It costs the same for anywhere in the U.S., and it promises to get there within 2-3 days. I'm changing my shipping accordingly. Thanks for pointing it out!

So, randomly and not related (though chocolate may be involved if I get to move out to Boston)--I applied to Brandeis University last week for a full-time job in housing. YAY! :)
