I hope the Mets are playing the game under protest. ESPN was too busy wondering who actually saw the play to provide this bit of information. And they didn't make the obvious inference that Manuel was ejected after pointing out what the replays showed.

This was not Bob Davison's finest hour. (And he's set the bar pretty low.)

Only caught parts of the game honestly. I have a long standing bias myself against the Mets due to the 1986 National League Championship Series when the Mets beat my beloved Astros in that agonizing 16 inning game that I watched every minute of. It was the first and only time I ever got to watch a series game live and in a stadium so I remember it well.
