Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

You are whiny, misinformed, and stupid.

As Jason Stark notes, it was a fluke. Flukes happen. Deal with it.

Speaking as a fan whose favorite pitcher is the one in question, I agree with him. And I don't agree with any of the Steinbrenners much.

I think that it is probably a good idea to just have "Dear Hank Steinbrenner: Shut. The. Fuck. Up. You are whiny, misinformed, and stupid." as a macro programmed in, so you can just post it with a simple keystroke combination.

Look -- I'm a Sox fan. I love our DH, Big Papi. But, all things considered, I think that the game is more interesting without a DH. And, yeah, it sucks when people are injured, and it sucks when people are injured doing something they're not used to doing. But that's not the fault of not having a DH. It's not the fault of ANYTHING -- it's just a sucky thing that happened.

It's a shame his pitchers are such delicate hothouse flowers that they can't run 90 feet without injuring themselves.

Oh, that antiquated National League, where the pitchers have to run, and the managers have to manage!

What an asshole. Let's just get it over with and have MLB entirely computer simulated -- that way there's no chance anybody will get hurt.

I don't get all this pitcher love. C'mon, they play once every four (or five) games and now asking them to know how to run the bases without twisting and ankle is too much training?

Sheesh, next he's going to want to have a pitcher's assistant who will carry the baseball from the mound to the strike zone.

I would have killed to see them bean the next pitcher to come to the plate just to watch Steinbrenner lose it.
