Circuit City was not happy about a recent Mad Magazine parody. Me, I'm still trying to figure out which parts of the fake ad are actually exaggerations.

"Right across the street from Best Buy!"
LOL!
Well that's true, at least for one of my Circuit City stores.
I can't stand them anyway. They never have the music cds or DVDs I want and they have music playing right at the door with that damned blasting bass that makes me want to turn right back around and leave. If that weren't bad enough they have music blasting and tvs blasting and I can't hear myself think in that store!
I'd rather have my sanity then shop there.

Yup, just like "How do you find a Walgreen's Pharmacy? Stand at the front door of a CVS Pharmacy, close your eyes and fling a half-empty box of Band-Aids over your left shoulder. It'll go right in the door of a Walgreen's."

Oy!!

Circuit City has been caught putting refurbished gear back into boxes and selling it as new.

I find that heinous. As much as I think Best Buy hires monkeys to do tech support, that still leaves them in the lead.

The subsequent retraction/apology (http://consumerist.com/5032889/circuit-city-sorry-for-commanding-employees-to-destroy-mad-mags-sucker-city-parody) shows class, however.
