Friday at Amazon: Free Video, Free MP3s, cheap Hedberg and Radiohead

Amazon's renamed the awful-sounding "unbox" to "Amazon Video," and they're offering streaming episodes of a bunch of TV shows for free (including Heroes, 30 Rock, Bones, and The Riches). They still offer movie rentals, Tivo downloads, etc.

The Friday Five Albums for $5 Each includes Mitch Hedberg's Strategic Grill Locations, Wire's Pink Flag (which everyone should own), Steve Miller Band's Greatest Hits (ditto), Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III, and Ingrid Michaelson's Girls and Boys.

The MP3 Deal of the Day is Radiohead's OK Computer (the group and album everyone but me seems to love) for $1.99. Good deal if you can stand them, I guess.

Foo! Yeah, not surprising, but disappointing. Maybe they'll follow the iTunes store's lead and offer freebies at amazon.co.uk soon.

Nope, it's not just you. I was over them ages ago...I really like three, maybe four of their songs, but I find them generally overrated.
