Jack (dumbass middle cat) just ran all the way across the house, making his trademark meow/howl/whine as he did so. As he approached Victoria (youngest and most psychotic of the felines), he leapt into the air, flying near her head. She, in turn, ducked and put up her paws, letting Jack hit them briefly before he finished his graceful leap on the other side of her and continued running. It was surprisingly graceful.

Of course, two minutes later, Jack jumped onto a bookcase and knocked down all of our anniversary cards as he walked. Because cats have a limit on how much grace they can exhibit in one day.

"Cats" do not have a limit on daily displayable grace.

Jack, of course, does.

He just doesn't want you taking anything for granted.

Man, I wish you had been able to magically film that. It sounds awesome.

I'm glad I'm able to picture that. Jack was fun when he and I met.

Reminds me of what George Carlin said about cats once. When they "fly" from the dining room table to the back of the couch and miss they always give a look like "Yeah, that was part of the plan" and flounce off. 2 minutes later you find them behind said couch, shaking their paw saying 'fucking meow!"
