Six red potatoes, diced with peel
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of salt
3/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
pinch of pepper
1/2 a cup of milk
6 whole garlic cloves
3 minced garlic cloves

Toss everything but the milk into the crock-pot. Set it on high for four hours. Pour in the milk and mash everything (I use an actual masher, but a fork would probably work). Eat.


They were yummy, although I'll probably add more garlic next time.

Oohh! I'm going to have to try that. Made my mashed 'taters in the usual way and then used the crockpot to hold 'em until dinnertime.
