Amazon's got a batch of new deals for Cyber-Monday (which strikes me as a silly idea nowadays, as more and more folks have fast 'net access at home).

They've repurposed the Black Friday page to host most of the deals, but there are some deals that deserve individual attention:

The Deal of the Day gets you either John Adams (the HBO miniseries) or Rome (both seasons together) for 60% off. They also have the John Adams soundtrack for 22% off as a part of that same deal.

The Cyber-Monday DVD sale isn't as nice as the one from last week, but it does continue to offer insanely cheap prices on shows like Smallville, Gilmore Girls, The Office, House, and The Complete West Wing (at 50% off), as well as a few hundred movies.

The pre-order price on The Wire: The Complete Series is $139.49 (44% off).

Other good DVD deals include:

The Scholastic Treasury of 100 Storybook Classics for $44.99 (55% off), with a free copy of the Scholastic Treasury of 20 Storybook classics thrown in for free.

The Blu-Ray edition of The Godfather trilogy is $41.99 (66% off).

The M*A*S*H: Martinis and Medicine Complete Collection is back down to $77.99.

The two-disc Casino Royale is $8.99 (55% off).

The new Shrek the Halls is $7.99 (60% off).

Tex Avery's Droopy -- the Complete Theatrical Collection is $13.49 (50% off).

And season one of Friday the 13th -- the perfectly cromulent series that has nothing to do with the movie it licenses its name from -- can be had for $26.99 (51% off).

Video game deals are aggregated on one Cyber-Monday page as well, but there are some deals worth highlighting:

The Video Game Deal of the Day is Game Party for the Wii for $9.99.

The DS Lite: Pink Ribbon edition is $99.99 (note that you'll have to go to the DS Lite page and choose that specific edition; other editions are still $129.99)!

The Guitar Hero Aerosmith Wii edition is still $44.99 (55% off) for the full bundle or $19.99 (50% off) for the game alone.

We Love Golf for the Wii is $9.99 (75% off).

If you have an acquaintance you hate who has a tween daughter, Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour for the Wii is $14.99 (50% off).

Pure for the PS3 is $19.95 (67% off).

God of War 2 for the PS2 is $9.99 (50% off).

Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 for the DS is $14.96 (50% off).

For the five people in America who want to read about Sparking Vampires who haven't already, The Twilight books are on sale, mostly for 40% off and more.

Book deals that might make you feel less dirty include the pre-order of The Tales of Beedle the Bard for $7.14 (45% off), Terry Pratchett's wonderful Nation is $10.57 (38% off), and Malcolm Gladwell's latest, Outliers, for $15.39 (45% off).

The DS deal seems to have gone away. I was trying to get one for both of my girls. They would only let me get one. And when I tried to find someone to get the second one for me, the $99.95 has vanished.

You should get some decent kickback from my order though...

Actually, going back now, it's worse than I thought. For some reason, I can't seem to buy one at full price either. I can buy other kinds, but I can't support the boobies.

Which I wouldn't mind, but I can see the girls fighting over them. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.
