I've seen a number of previews of The Tale of Despereaux.

But I'm confused.

Could someone tell me when, exactly, he takes on The Flash in a game of chess?

And if we don't get that one, do we at least get a chess game with J'onn J'onzz?

I had similar thoughts when I first heard the previews for the movie on tv. Having my back turned to it, I was wondering when Despero's voice got so tiny???

The book was really sweet; I sure hope they've not ruined the story in the film. (I also want to see Inkheart soon, but I loved the book so much that I fear what could have happened to it.)

I do a little double-take every time I hear about this movie, actually.

I only know the part that Kate Gosslin read before bed... on Jon and Kate plus 8...

I was hoping to see him blast the rats with his eye beam. Maybe maul some peasants.

I don't generally mind these "re-imaginings" of comic book characters, but this time I think they've gone too far. :)
