Made a pork roast last night, which was both easy and yummy. [livejournal.com profile] shadesong and I had asparagus on the side, while Elayna had corn, and we all watched The House Bunny. The movie was surprisingly cute, although my long-established crush on Anna Faris pretty much ensured I'd like it. It has a nice, likable cast, including Kat Dennings (of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist), Emma Stone (Violet on Drive), and Colin Hanks (of Roswell and his father's gene pool). The plot's pretty predictable -- think Revenge of the Nerds with sororities, crossed with a bit of Legally Blonde -- but it's generally a good natured movie. There are a few fun cameos -- Shaq's hard to miss, but Dan Patrick turns up in a surprising role -- and, of course, there's a lot of Hef (as well as whichever Bunnies were popular when the movie was made).

Definitely worth a rental if you're on Netflix (or have a good library, which we're lucky enough to have).

That was a cute movie, I especially liked the way Anna Faris' character used a demon voice as a way to remember names.

And Anna's butt, which should have had its own credit!
