For lunch today, I decided to try a peanut butter and cabbage sandwich.

This was inspired by Michael Ruhlman's post on the sandwich.

As a bonus feature, it also horrifies my wife. :-)

(And yes, it's actually pretty tasty.)

FWIW, I'm with you, though that's mostly due to my deep loathing for cabbage........

Makes a certain amount of sense -- I love peanut sauce with cabbage on various roll-up type things.

My immediate thought was ICK! But then I remembered that I like peanut butter on cabbage (something my mother fed me as a child), so adding bread and turning it into a sandwich isn't much of a jump....

I'd eat that.

Tho' I'd probably do more of a thai peanut sauce to spice it up.

I think it was George Washington Carver who said something like "Peanut butter goes with everything."
