Pi Day: We're doing it wrong

Pi Day this year coincided with our local (to our office) holiday of Frost Your Own Friday, an annual event on which we take unfrosted cupcakes, put frosting on them, and eat them. So, although I've eaten no pie today, I've enjoyed three cupcakes.

Yeah, but like any holiday that falls on a weekend, you're supposed to celebrate on a weekday and make it a holiday.

OK - I'll accept that. You should still try to celebrate it at home. I'm thinking I'll make a frozen peanut butter pie. I tend to prefer fruit pies, but those are best in the summer. :)
