Ick. Although the swelling has mostly gone down, my throat decided to have stabby pains tonight. Pain medicine isn't working, either. Grr.

Well, as I mentioned, the parent appreciation week at Elayna's dojo was this week. On Tuesday, only two parents (out of six kids) were there. Yesterday, five of us were there (I felt really bad for the one kid whose parents sent him with the maid on both days). I'm now in major pain. The kids, aside from having boundless energy, don't get sore from the things like pushups because they do them like kids (essentially keeping most of their body on the ground). The adults did real pushups, real running, etc. It was fun. I was drenched in sweat by the end. Even the parents who looked to be in good shape were tired. But it was a lot of fun. And we got certificates of achievement. Elayna is proud of me. :-)

I really want to send this to Charles de Lint, since I know at least four couples ('song and I included) who met as a result of the Tamson House list. But Charles just comes across as too nice a guy to want to hear that. But at some point, he's going to be reminded of the number of lifemates who met each other as a result of his work.

Just saw the latest trailer for Spidey, and it so rocks! I've just blocked out May 3rd on my calendar for "web research." :-)
