I so wish this class was offered when I was in college. [livejournal.com profile] kellinator, maybe he can visit as a guest lecturer for your class?

So I'm playing songs from my iTunes collection while ripping Dar Williams' Out There Live and cleaning my room. I look up, and the song that's playing is the Barenaked Ladies "Be my Yoko Ono," and the status line on the importing says, "Importing 'I Won't be Your Yoko Ono.'" Weird moment. Nothing profound. Maybe I should make a "yoko" mix -- between those two songs alone, I've got five or six versions.

Just for [livejournal.com profile] mousegrrl -- in the process of cleaning my room, I found my Vixen CD. I'm ripping it to MP3 right now. :-)

As I'm cleaning out the room and reliving even more cheesy '80s music, I'm amazed at some of the things I've found, including a journal I started in college. First and last entry:

Sun, Nov. 7, 1993
I'm not sure if I really am disciplined enough to keep a journal, but I thought it might be a good way to manage my thoughts, so here I go.

Yes, folks, my only entry is an unintentionally ironic one about how I suck at journal keeping.
