Too tired for a real post, but it must be said:

TMBG rocks!

They really really do. Especially for free. Only thing that sucked was that there was no "Don't Let's Start," "Ana Ng," or "The Statue Got Me High." But other than that, just a fucking awesome show.

More tomorrow. G'night.

Okay, not much progress has happened on my novel (other than adding and fleshing out at least one character in my head, but if it ain't on paper, it ain't written).

But on the non-fiction front, I've started a comics column for chud.com. I sent in two samples, pretty much figuring I'd have to change 'em, but using them as a quick proof-of-concept. Next thing I knew, both were published. You can find them at

It's far from my best writing, but I like the idea of having a deadline-driven item that will force me to put some words down (nice as LJ is, it allows me to cheat on all sorts of levels). Oh, and for those who are wondering, the parenthetical statement in the first column was added by the editor (not that I won't make my own grammar flubs :-).

Oh, and I decidedly did not choose the title. Although it's probably not a bad one, given the general target audience of Chud.

So, we went shopping today (as [livejournal.com profile] shadesong has mentioned). We were buying baby carrots as snack food, as we both want to lose weight.

I went for the hella big bag.

'song said we should go for the tiny bag, because we might get sick of the carrots before we finished it.

So, five hours later, guess what I just finished an entire bag of while browsing the net?

We definitely need to buy the big bag next time.
