Drive-by "howdy"

Still mostly offline, as my computer is down, and borrowing 'song's old laptop is fine for quickly reading email, but not for getting anything extended done. And since I'm off work today (flex time) and tomorrow (Elayna's graduation), don't expect to really hear from me until Wednesday. And I'm not even trying to read LJ (and haven't really been touching it since last Monday). If you need me, email me.

But I'm still alive. And Father's Day was wonderful -- Elayna got me Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and we watched the new and awesome version of Chess on PBS (whose prudish insistence on silencing a couple of curse words is something for another post), and basically chilled.

Tomorrow, my little girl graduates from middle school. More on that on Wednesday.
