In-bloody-credible
Aug. 31st, 2009 09:44 amOver in Sedalia, MO, a bunch of idiots have decided to get all irate-like over the use of an evolution image on band t-shirts, claiming that it's religious imagery.
The most pathetic part, imho, is this chunk:
Yes, a teacher doesn't want evolution associated with her school. Which tells me that she's also completely not qualified for her job, amongst other things.
(Obligatory disclaimer: No, I do not think religious people are inherently idiots; I do, however, think that creationists are morons at best, and willfully ignorant at worst.)

The most pathetic part, imho, is this chunk:
Band parent Sherry Melby, who is a teacher in the district, stands behind Pollitt’s decision. Melby said she associated the image on the T-shirt with Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution.
“I was disappointed with the image on the shirt.” Melby said. “I don’t think evolution should be associated with our school.”
