Here's Ken Ehrlich, executive producer of the Grammy Awards, a show you likely haven't watched since before they gave the heavy metal award to Jethro Tull:
“I think people deserve a second chance, you know. If you’ll note, he has not been on the Grammys for the past few years and it may have taken us a while to kind of get over the fact that we were the victim of what happened.”

The topic of that quote?

Chris Fucking Brown.

Yes, the "victim" wasn't Rihanna. It was the Grammy Awards! They were the victims of domestic violence here, having to not have a big star on their show. How awful for them, right?

It's not like I can claim I'll boycott the show -- it's the Grammy's, and I haven't given a damn about them since the '80s, but there's a line between "irrelevant and boring" and "what the hell is wrong with you people?" that pretty clearly has been crossed.
