A bunch of Amazon sales have popped up on video games and DVDs:

The Complete Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends is only $57.99 (42% off, and less than $12 a season). It remains one of the five greatest cartoons of all time.

Tales of the Gold Monkey is $20.49 (59% off).

The Godfather Collection on Blu-Ray is $22.79 (64% off).

There's a bunch of HBO deals at 45-50% off, including Game of Thrones, Eastbound and Down, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, The Wire, and more.

The Disney sale includes 40-50% off various titles like The Muppets, The Lion King, Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more.

In video games, the Easter Sale features over 150 games, including various Just Dance, Zumba Fitness, and assorted family games for all systems (including the Vita, if anyone's got one).

The Video Game Deal of the Day is the Gillian Michaels Fitness Adventure for Xbox Kinnect.

You can also snag The King of Fighters XIII for $29.99, and get the 4-CD soundtrack for KoF '94-XIII tossed in for free. This one's for both Xbox and PS3.

And there's a massive sale on downloadable THQ titles, with 65-75% off a bunch of PC titles, including Warhammer, Saint's Row, Company of Heroes, and dozens more.

1. Pat Cadigan's response to Christopher Priest's piece in The Guardian is kind of wonderful.

2. The Atlantic's article on gambler Don Johnson (no relation to the Miami Vice star) breaking Atlantic City is fascinating.

3. Why Facebook (or any company that overworks their employees) is not doing the right thing from a utilitarian point of view (accepting that it's morally wrong, of course).

4. Guess what the Supreme Court did last year? They said that we can't file class-action suits against cell phone companies! Yay, democracy!

5. Speaking of institutions that are being propped up, how about Bank of America?

6. And speaking of thoroughly corrupt organizations, how about the Church of Scientology (this being specifically a look at the Writers of the Future contest)?

7. Good Things About Twitter. This link is not Franzen-approved.

8. Attempting to use the DMCA to stop a journalist by claiming that your name is copyrighted takes chutzpah.

9. Is anyone surprised that there's going to be an Angry Birds cartoon?

10. Bonus Amazon deal: The Kindle edition of She Nailed a Stake Through His Head: Tales of Biblical Terror (edited by Marlowe1 and featuring a story by Yuki_onna) is free until Thursday (and what better way to kick off the Passover season than with this theme)?
