Amazon Video Game Deals: Blizzard, Lego Indiana Jones, Guitar Hero

Amazon's regular Deal of the Day is on three Blizzard Battle Chests -- Starcraft, Warcraft III, and Diablo. The Starcraft Battle Chest is $9.98, while the other two are $19.98 each. All are for Mac and Windows machines.

I consider Diablo 2 and Starcraft to be two of the best games ever. Each of these will provide as much entertainment as almost any game on the market. I'm not as huge a fan of Warcraft III, but it's still a fun game.

Amazon's also selling Lego Indiana Jones for $19.99 for almost every system (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, DS, PSP, Windows) for $19.99. In some cases, this is as much as $30 off the regular price. I know it sounds silly, but this game (which came with my Xbox) is the Xbox 360 game I've played the most. Really. It's insanely fun. The only versions not on sale are the ones for the Mac and for the Wii. If you've got any other system, grab this one today.

Finally, the PS3 version of the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Wireless Bundle is on sale for $32.20 (54% off), while the Xbox 360 version goes for $45.49 (35% off).

Yeah, I can understand the Mac one (the ports are usually not run through the same company, and it tends to stay pricey), but the Wii one surprises me.

My daughter was here for a visit. I picked up a 2nd xbox joystick just in case she wanted to play Lego Indiana Jones with me (we'd been playing Wii Zelda, taking turns being Link). We ended up playing until about 1:45 this morning. Lots of fun. But we felt the 2nd adventure was not as good as the 1st. It had some puzzles that were too difficult in a bad way. Not tricky, but sort of unfair. Still, an amazing game and great fun.

Yeah, I've only played one-player, and I'm still insanely hooked. But I did need some walkthroughs for some of the tougher hidden items.
