So, that had to be the most depressing hour of TV since, well, ever. I mean, if Fox released an hour-long baby-chicken-squashing show, that might be a little more depressing. Barely.

It was well done I thought though.

Although my husband and I kept turning to each other "maybe House is having a psychotic break and it didn't really happen?" "Or maybe its all a dream?" Ugh. And to play Pete Yorn even, that song already got to me.

Depressing... shocking... unexpected.

That was the kind of TV you yearn for.

I'm amazed they seemed to keep word shut that Kal was off the show. For all that does get leaked, that was surprising.

Unless it did get leaked and I missed it... but hey... if I missed it? Bad leak.

It was so sad. And unexpected. And not one glimmer of hope anywhere. Add that to Flashpoint last week and I am wrecked. Eesh!

Um, I have not seen it yet.

Should I have the kind hearted Lady Un avoid it?

Just saw it.

Impressive episode. The initial reveal and aftermath were striking.

I was thinking House's obsession with the thing was more of an introspection as to why he kept going, and Kutner called it a day.

I think Kal Penn saw a much better future in movies.

He is actually quitting acting to go work in the White House. He did a lot of work for the Obama Campaign during the election, and realized just how much it meant to him to continue that kind of work.

We were not a dry eyed home by the end.

like I said in another thread, reality aficionados ave been calling for a case that house couldn't solve or more where he solved it too late. Here we got both.

However the entire online memorial they advertised at the end made my skin crawl

like the death on scc this really came across in a way I have experienced death, particularly suicide; sudden, meaningless, inexplicable, and shattering.

I didn't find it that depressing, I found it comforting to be able to share something like that with the world at large.
