Fuck you, Fox
Apr. 7th, 2009 11:10 pmAmerican Asshole appears to have run about nine minutes over, meaning that Fringe, of course, got cut off with as many minutes to go (our Tivo switched to ABC to record Cupid at 10, of course). Fortunately, I found the episode already uploaded, but this is a great fucking way to treat a show that's been on the second huge hiatus of its run this season.

Date: 2009-04-08 03:55 am (UTC)People are more likely to watch something like Idol live, but it's still silly and annoying given how many people now view via DVR. Since Idol is live, I suppose they'd argue they can't predict overruns precisely.
Has Fringe improved? I pretty much hated the first few and gave up. Keep meaning to check back in, but I'm experiencing serious TV fatigue right now. S'pose it's bound to happen given I watch so many shows.

Date: 2009-04-08 04:19 am (UTC)Thanks for posting about it though. I most likely won't watch it until this weekend, and that would've been an ugly surprise.
Fortunately now, thanks to you, I can go ahead and find it online.
Thanks!

Fringe has improved a lot; they've developed interesting long-term plotlines, fleshed out the characters nicely, and brought in some interesting secondary characters. Plus, Walter still has his cow.
