So, I turned off the CSI: NY finale once I realized that they'd killed the only character on the show I still liked.

And I therefore missed the news about the ending.

Fortunately, I've seen the same ending before, and so has most of TV-watching America above a certain age:

I'd. . .never seen that. But then, I've never really seen ANY Dynasty, so that's something. I was going to say it was the original "rocks fall everyone dies" but then I remembered Hamlet.

So who'd they kill and what was the news about the ending? I did a cursory search on the internet, but all I saw was sites from weeks ago speculating.

Was she the "goth/punk" one?
Oh good! Gotta love a bloodbath.

Maybe I'm thinking of NCIS. Of these shows I only watch CSI so I have trouble telling the others apart.

I found her presence and appearance to be so unbelievable that I never got around to watching the show.

NCIS is the one with the cute goth-punk chick (and little else).

Hay, what about David McCallum? Illya Kuryakin as a ME.

Well there was also loren holley's breasts for a while, but they got shot too

Oh, and btw. I was wondering if you and [livejournal.com profile] blazepoet and a 4th person you may have lying about would be interested in playing Titan this weekend.

Shall we say Saturday at your place? What time would be good?

5 should be fine, though if the other two would like a different time I'm flexible.

Will you be getting in touch with them? I can post to ask [livejournal.com profile] blazepoet, but I don't think I know the other individual.

Ding! I appear!

Ding! I shall appear at yendi's at 5... as long as I can remember where it is... heh.

I have to warn you I haven't played in 15 years or so. It'll be like learning all over again.

I figure it'll take a little longer 'cause we'll have to go over the rules, but I tend to build that in to my estimates for how long the game will take.

I mentioned this to [livejournal.com profile] rayan4d2 and he expressed interest in playing as well. Would it be ok if he came along tonight? Not a problem if he can't. Titan can be played with 5.

I'll be there. I can also bring some subset of: Battlestar Galactica / Race for the Galaxy (with exp #1) / Dominion; the latter two are good short games for the eliminatees from Titan, and BSG is a wondrous game of paranoia and treachery. (I'm all for paranoia and treachery.)

(I've never actually played Titan, for all the boardgaming I've done over the years. [livejournal.com profile] yendi, feel free to be surprised at this revelation.)

Aaaah, how well I remember that finale. I was totally on pins and needles all summer waiting for the premiere to find out who lived and who died.

(Yes, I watched Dynasty fairly religiously when I was eleven.)

Me too -- I was all, "Wait, I fretted all summer over that?" If you're gonna mess with me like that, at least make it worth my while.

Luckily for my summer, I don't give two rat's asses about CSI: NY. :)

My guess is that NO ONE actually got shot based on the camera sequence and how CSI actually operates. But that's just me.
