Oscar prediction

I predict that early next year, Pixar will, for the third straight year, find that they have produced a movie that's better than at least three of the movies that get Best Picture Oscar nominations.

Yeah, saw Up today. It's every bit as good as I'd expected, and then some.

100% agreed. I think the Best Animated Picture Oscar is already sealed up, and I think it'd have a pretty good chance of a Best Picture Oscar if they didn't have the animated category.

Not entirely sealed up. Hayao Miyazaki's next feature (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0876563/) (possibly his last) comes out in August.

Oooh, valid point -- I didn't realize that. Well, at the very least, then, that's two of the three Best Animated Film nominations taken care of. :)
