Majorly offline today

My laptop has a cracked screen, and although the video-out feed works fine, it's current at the repair shop. That means I'm attempting to get work done on an awful Windows desktop (and remembering just how much I hate every aspect of Windows), and will not be hitting LJ, Facebook, or pretty much any social site today. Ditto email. That will likely continue through at least tomorrow.

Also, have I mentioned how much I hate Windows? It's like the UI was designed by the kids who used to beat up the future UI gurus in elementary school.
