So, we're catching up on Eureka, now that Elayna's back for the weekend.

And Elayna, who had no knowledge of the channel's name change woes, after sixty seconds, utters, "logo fail!"

Yes, the fourteen-year-old girl demographic also thinks that the folks at Sci-Fi are morons for their name change.

Your wife explained to me that it was a trademark/copyright thing, since they couldn't copyright "sci-fi" they had to make something up.
I hate it.
It makes me not want to watch anything because it's always there, glaring at you.

I find the trademark thing to be dubious, at best. They had the name for fifteen years, and it's not like anyone's planning on buying towels with the channel's name on it. And yeah, having the logo at the bottom of the screen is half the annoyance.

That's because Elayna is an intelligent young woman with an interest in some of the traditional elements of scifi--which puts her in the demographic that TCFNASF has apparently decided they don't want.
